Rosacea

Rosacea is caused by overactive blood vessels under the skin. When these vessels become inflamed it result in flushing, red bumps, and pus pimples. No fun!

Unfortunately, there is no cure for rosacea as of today.

However, hydrating, anti-inflammatory, soothing skincare can help keep it under control.

We recommend you:

Cleanse! The pivotal first step to any great skincare routine.

HS cleanser is pH balanced to 5.5, it purifies your skin without stripping it of its natural oils. It contains camomile, an anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial, non-comedogenic plant extract, perfect for sensitive skin!

When: AM and PM, wash your face with lukewarm water, as very hot or cold water can cause blood to rush to the face and cause more redness.

Kakadu Plum Serum! Soothes & heals

The Australian native Kakadu Plum is the ultimate Vitamin C, it contains 100x more Vitamin C than an orange. It is naturally antibacterial and helps to reduce redness, inflammation and irritation.

When: AM and PM, after cleansing on lukewarm skin.

THE THREE STEPS

1. B Mist: Anti-inflammatory

Contains Vitamin B3, niacinamide. It reduces redness, hyperpigmentation, improves skin texture, refines pore size by regulating sebum production, reduces fine lines and wrinkles and improves moisture by strengthening the outermost layers of the skin. It’s really that good!

2. HA2 Serum: Plump & Firm

Contains two forms of HA that naturally occur in the dermis to attract and bind water in the skin. It repairs your skin’s moisture barrier and feeds the production of collagen and elastin. You can’t go wrong!

 3. L Moisturiser: Retain moisture balance

A noncomedogenic formula that utilises dry oils. It will not block pores, calms skin and balances the production of sebum (oil naturally produced by skin).

These products will replenish hydration and help to calm an inflamed complexion. Individuals with rosacea have a weakened skin barrier that has difficulty maintaining hydration. Give your skin the hydration it needs with this HydroSkinCare routine.

If you believe you have rosacea and have not seen a doctor, do! Symptoms can get worse with time if left untreated. The above is only a guide, not a prescription.

A note: extreme temperatures, strenuous exercise, spicy foods, stress, alcohol, caffeine and smoking can all cause rosacea out brakes. Be mindful.
